My favourite pastime is, as can be expected, my wife Hanne (we were married on July 7, 2001) and son Ville. Our cat Bast also tends to take some of our time, and never ceases to amaze all of us with her weird habits.

Science fiction and fandom activity fill the top of the list of activities I'm interested in. Currently, I'm the treasurer of the Turku Science Fiction Society, and I was the treasurer of Tutka (The Science Fiction Culture Cabinet at the University of Turku) between 1997 and 2007. I also was the secretary of the committee for organizing Finncon 1999 in Turku, and a member of the Finncon 2003 committee.
